Company Scope is to design conceptual to final planning on commercial and residential projects. We specialize in construction, construction Management, Design, Planning & Budgeting and scheduling as prime General Contractor.

APCON DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION INC. APCON CONSTRUCTION CO. 1999 - 2023:

PRESIDENT - DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION / PROJECT MANAGER / PLANNER

APCON started as a general contractor in 1999 and went on to become a Design Build Firm. We provided for our clients a one stop shop service ranging from property locations, budget Analysis, budgets, scheduling, preliminary conceptual to prototype designs, funds control and financing.

APCON designed and constructed projects for San Antonio National Bank (SANB) at multiple bank locations, shopping centers, Restaurants, retail interior finish-out stores, multi family apartments, medical office buildings, tilt wall, pre-engineered buildings, and new homes. APCON provided services on mix use development projects involving re-zoning, re-plating & city council meetings. I am a member of the Hispanic Contractors Association, Associated General Contractors, ICC Certified General Contractor and Member of the AIA - document administrator. I have constructed projects in Wisconsin, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado, Seattle, Arizona, Florida, Minnesota and California, Washington, and Oregon.

CENTRES DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION 1997 - 1999:

Project manager / Program manager / scheduler

Initiated Ground up and vertical Construction projects in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. Provided management scheduling, negotiating contracts, and managing all project managers and site Superintendents on multiple ground up project and retail stores for clients such as: Eckerd Drugs, Walgreen’s, Garden Ridge and Pier 1 Imports.

SHRADER MARTINEZ CONSTRUCTION INC. 1996 - 1997: National General Contractor

Superintendent

Successfully served as superintendent on multiple Retail projects consisting of retail interior finish-out type construction. Client’s base ranged from the Limited, Lerner New York, Lane Bryant, Victoria Secret, Bath & Body works, Disney Store, Abercrombie & Finch, Structures, and Express & Limited II.

METROPOLITAN CONTRACTING INC. 1991 - 1996: Local General Contractor

Superintendent

Successfully served as project superintendent on multiple projects involving retail, Financial Bank and Technical Industrial.

U. S. NAVY CONSTRUCTION BATALLIONS (SEA BEES) 1986 - 1990

Served five years with NMCB 133 & 62 - Navy Mobile Construction Battalions. Completed four over sea’s deployments in Italy, Spain, Greece, Cairo Egypt, Alaska, Japan, Guam, Midway, Diego Garcia, Thailand, Subic Bay Philippines. Constructed multiple metals building ground up projects with Army corps Engineers on barracks, Butler Buildings, Sea Huts, Admin Buildings, Anti-aircraft towers and rapid runway repair certified.
